Boyd's Goodyear is a familiar name in central Ohio. The company includes several successful automotive and light truck tire and service centers. The first service center, Boyd’s Eastpointe Goodyear, was built in 1996 at the corner of E. Broad St. and Reynoldsburg-New Albany Rd.  The newest service center is Boyd’s Bethel Centre Goodyear at 5263 Godown Rd.

Unlike most typical tire centers, Boyd's offers a complete, state-of-the-art automotive and small truck repair facility. We offer Goodyear, Dunlop, and Republic tires, Interstate batteries, and Valvoline lubricants and fluids. Our services include engine diagnostics and repairs, oil changes, electrical systems, heating and a/c repair, brakes, steering, suspension, wheel alignment, and transmission repair. We also offer a 12-month warranty on our services, and that warranty is good nationwide.

We take great pride in being one of the top performers, in a not-so-glamorous profession. We are a respected business. Our owner, Keith Boyd, was nominated "Small Businessman of the Year" twice shortly after our doors opened in '96. The greater Columbus Chamber of Commerce gives out this prestigious award. This award proves that Boyd's performs a valuable service to its customers and community. As with many businesses in the new millennium, competition is fierce. Dedicated to providing hometown service, we continue to expand our business and provide our customers a local trustworthy tire and service center.

In Spring of 1999, we opened a second facility, Northgate, in Westerville. The success of the first two locations allowed Boyd's to build a third facility, which opened in September 2001 at Polaris. We decided that we should explore all further opportunities to expand. In August of 2003 and again in October 2003 we were offered existing locations in Marysville and Hilliard. In March 2004 and again in 2005, Goodyear chose to give us another location in Westerville at the corner of Schrock and State St. and one at Bethel Rd. and Godown, respectively. Our units at Marysville, Hilliard, Westerville, and Bethel were existing sites. We have renovated these units, and they are coming along great.

Boyd's Goodyear currently employs 70 dedicated and talented service professionals and unlike most of the industry our employees are not compensated completely on commission. They make bonuses based on productivity, allowing us to attract the more highly qualified and talented individuals in the area. We develop a spirit of teamwork and recognize group excellence. Everyone works together to make sure all repairs are complete and professional.  Some of our biggest success stories are the young people, trained in-house, who have developed into productive, professional technicians. We are also proud that assistant managers, promoted from our other locations, manage some of our new units.

Boyd's doesn't have any earth shattering secrets about the automotive repair business. Almost everyone in our industry knows what to do. The difference is we do it!
